Shopping Information
Delivery charges for orders from the Online Shop?
Delivery charges are calculated based on your location and order size, and are shown at checkout before you pay. We keep shipping costs as low as possible and offer multiple delivery options so you can choose what suits you best. See our Shipping page for full details. or contact us on directly.
How long will delivery take?
Most orders are delivered within 24 hours from shop to customer within Bergen, our current city of operation. Non-perishable items can be delivered anywhere in Norway, typically within 4–5 business days. For special or urgent delivery requests, please contact us.
What exactly happens after ordering?
Once you place your order, we receive it immediately and begin preparing your package. You'll get an order confirmation email, and once your items are packed, they're handed off for delivery or dispatched for shipping. You can track the status of your order via the Track Order page or your account dashboard.
Where can I view my sales receipt?
Your receipt/order confirmation is emailed to you automatically once your order is placed. You can also find it any time by logging in and going to My Account → Orders, where every past order and its receipt are listed.
How do I add a gift receipt to an order?
At checkout, add a note in the Order Notes field requesting a gift receipt (one without prices shown). If you've already placed the order, contact us at support@mubarak.no with your order number and we'll arrange it before dispatch.
How long do I have to return an order?
This depends on what you bought:
- Groceries, sweets, meat, and other perishable/food items are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal under Norwegian law (angrerettloven), since they can't be resold once delivered. If an item arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right.
- Essentials (clothes, accessories) are covered by the standard 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive your order, as required by Norwegian consumer law.
Payment Information
How is the recipient reimbursed?
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the order once we've confirmed the return or resolved the issue.
Can I be reimbursed through the original payment method?
Yes — refunds are always processed back to the card, Vipps, or payment method you originally used. We don't offer store credit unless you specifically request it.
Can the country receiving the shipment be different than the country of purchase?
Currently, we only deliver within Norway, so the delivery address must be a Norwegian address regardless of where the order is placed from. If you need shipping outside Norway, contact us to check availability.
How can I return an item?
Email support@mubarak.no or use the contact form with your order number and reason for return. We'll confirm eligibility (see return window above) and provide instructions for returning the item, either by mail or in person.
Will I receive the same product that I see in the picture?
Yes, we aim for product photos to accurately represent what you'll receive. Minor differences in packaging design or batch labeling from suppliers may occur, but the product itself will match what's shown.
Will you restock items indicated as “out of stock?”
Yes, in most cases. Restocking depends on supplier availability. You can add an out-of-stock item to your wishlist or contact us to be notified when it's back.

How do I subscribe to the newsletter?
You can join our local Whatsapp group, subscribe via the signup form in the site footer, or opt in at checkout when placing an order, to receive updates on new products and offers.

Mubarak.no works best on the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. For the smoothest checkout experience, keep your browser updated.
